Angular Planets in Practice
A planet within 8° of an angular cusp (especially the Ascendant or Midheaven) is considered angular and gains significant visibility in the native's life. The closer to the exact angle, the stronger the effect. A person with Saturn angular (on the Ascendant or Midheaven) consistently manifests Saturnian qualities seriousness, discipline, ambition, or restriction as prominent public themes. When a transiting planet moves to an angle, it activates the entire chart for a period, bringing that planet's themes into unusually prominent expression.
