The Magic Square as Birth Chart
The Lo Shu Grid is a 3×3 magic square where numbers 1–9 are positioned so every row, column, and diagonal totals 15. In numerology, you plot your birth date digits into this grid to reveal which numbers are present (strengths), missing (areas of growth), and repeated (intensified qualities). It is widely used in Indian numerology — especially in the format popularised by Cheiro and later adapted into Vedic practice.

How to Read the Grid
Write out all digits of your complete birth date (e.g., 15-03-1990 → 1, 5, 0, 3, 1, 9, 9, 0). Plot each digit (excluding 0) into its position in the Lo Shu Grid. Numbers present multiple times are strengths amplified. Numbers absent are areas where energy is weak or growth is needed — these correspond to the Missing Numbers in your chart. Rows and diagonals of present numbers form 'planes' with specific meanings (mental, physical, spiritual).
